Scandinavia also stands out significantly, securing the votes of 22% of respondents. The Nordic countries have long been recognized for their forward-thinking approach to technology and finance. With their technologically advanced infrastructure and a culture of embracing innovation, the Nordic region has become a focal point for payment innovation. Sweden, in particular, has made significant strides in becoming a cashless society, setting a benchmark for digital payments.
