About CardGenY
CardGenY is a platform that enables Issuers, Processors and Co-brand programs to rapidly implement next generation Challenger Bank type solutions.

It incorporates real time spend and payment controls but fully integrated with loyalty, commerce, marketing and analytics…a commercial framework that’s key to the future profitability and sustainability of digital payments.

How did the idea for the business originate? 
It was evident that new Challenger Bank solutions combined with PSD2 / open banking would drive digital transformation across the financial sector.

We saw an opportunity to establish a platform and mobile solution to assist incumbents (Issuers, Processors and Co-Brand programs) in this transformation process by combining many separate FinTech solutions into a single offering.

Do you have customers yet? If not, how far into your business lifecycle are you?

Yes, we have a major tier 1 airline co-brand client as a launch partner!

So far we have been 100% founders/internally funded.

What would a successful 2018 look like for you?

The interest has been significant in our consolidated fintech approach, so simply further validation of the approach and establishing brand visibility.

Outside of your own business, which model and company do you admire the most and why? 
All the volunteers across many fields who help without recognition or reward. We should all contribute something be it time or financial, however small that might be!
