Welcoming ZignSec to FinTech Connect!

Zignsec is a one stop shop for Identities offering merchants online services to verify the true identity of their customers by a variety of identity methods. Zignsec offer its cloud based services with one api to help merchants to automate and comply with current and future regulation.

How did the idea for the business originate?

The business originated from that the funders wanted to automate/digitalise verification of Online Identity, and on the internet it is one of the least developed things today. With new identity methods like the E-ids, banking-apis etc you can get the true identity of a person with very simple measures.

Do you have customers yet? If not, how far into your business lifecycle are you?

Zignsec has customers today and we are growing rapidly. We started this year with around 20+ customers and are on target for around 60+ customers of the end of the year.

How have you funded your growth to date?

We have been targeting segments where you truly need to know you customers and they are mostly regulated. Those segments are finance, i-gaming and e-health. In all of these segments we can see a pattern that they all need the same setup and solutions and also want it as automated as possible.

What would a successful year look like for you?

That we as a company can continue growing and also to have happy customers.

We also would like to see that more and more understands the power of automation and digitalisation for online identities and that it really helps to reduce frauc, onboarding etc.

Outside of your own business, which start up do you admire the most and why?

We admire tip-tap which is a Swedish recycling service and makes it easy for people to get rid of their thrash or other things which you don’t need.  Very good thinking of them and also very environmental service.
