As the Head of Emerging Payments, Europe at HSBC, Phoebe provides our thought leadership and oversee our delivery of the future of payment landscape. She led strategic digital emerging payment development. She completed blockchain strategy programme in Oxford University and also is an expert member for Digital Euro Association. Keen to apply blockchain technology in the cross border payments journey to create a Hybrid model to solve the ‘high cost, low speed, less transparency’ pain points for our corporate clients.

She is also the Chair of HSBC China Connect acting as cultural ambassador in connecting East and West. She is a big advocate for diversity and inclusion.

In her spare time, she likes to explore this world and beyond. Her biggest dream is to do space travel one day. She loves exchanging innovative ideas through collaboration and networking with colleagues and stakeholders alongside consistently thinking how to improve herself in multi dimensions. She also enjoys reading, playing piano and wine tasting events.
