Andrea's career spans different leading buy-side firms in Europe and London, including Commerzbank, Deka Investment, and Sarasin & Partners, where he gained extensive experience as a Quant Portfolio Manager and Researcher. As a fund manager, he was responsible for managing a range of funds across different asset classes, including corporate bonds, convertibles, equities, commodities, and managed futures strategies, in the long-only and long-short space. He subsequently transitioned to the digital side of finance and served as the CIO of a prominent fintech company in Dubai, which specializes in offering AI-driven solutions for trading digital assets. Andrea is an accomplished keynote speaker who has been featured at many high-profile conferences focused on quant, machine learning, and AI. His primary areas of expertise are in the development of ML-driven strategies for financial and digital markets.
