Dan Chester

Technical Account Manager Vast Data

Dan Chester (BEng, MBCS;). With a degree in Electronic Engineering and as the lead inventor on a number of patents, Dan has worked across a range of industries - semiconductor design, software defined radio and data centre infrastructure. For the last 10 years he has worked in the field of data storage where he has helped organisations like CERN (where he was also a member of the Openlab industry collaboration committee) build out massive data infrastructure projects. For the last 5 years he has been helping quant trading firms build large-scale, high-performance data-centric infrastructure platforms.
