Chief Digital Officer Societe Generale

Sohail Raja is the Chief Digital Officer for the UK and Head of Execution Platforms for SG Markets at Societe Generale

He joined Societe Generale in October 2011 with overall responsibility for the design and development of the SG Markets Execution Platform Business across all Asset classes. With additional focus on Digital Transformation, Sohail has been involved in the application of digital initiatives across SG Markets.

Prior to joining Societe Generale, Sohail as Head of Electronic Distribution was responsible for the development and rollout of market leading Structured Retail Products and Institutional eCommerce Platforms at ABN AMRO / RBS. 

He has also held eCommerce positions at Commerzbank, Nomura, Prudential & PwC. In addition, Sohail has also worked in a number of successful start-ups within the Financial Services space.
