Dr. Robert Fasano is a portfolio technical lead and an expert in compact optical clocks and optical lattice clocks with up to 18 digits of accuracy. As a doctoral student and postdoctoral scholar. Dr. Fasano spent seven years working in the Optical Frequency Measurements Group at Boulder’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); he received his doctoral degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Dr. Fasano’s doctoral efforts demonstrated local optical clock measurements that surpassed the state-of-the-art ability at the time to account for the gravitational distortion of space-time across the surface of Earth. His lab also implemented a robust solution to overcome limitations to the performance of optical clocks via a zero-dead-time optical clock that is based on the interleaved interrogation of two cold-atom ensembles.
Introducing Tiqker, an innovative optical atomic clock that redefines precise timing and navigation. Our findings showcase the clock's remarkable precision in both lab settings and real-world applications. Additionally, we will delve into how Tiqker acts as a gateway to commercial-scale quantum technologies, supported by Infleqtion's ecosystem of quantum components. This ecosystem facilitates the development of various field-ready quantum technologies, such as high-performance lasers and RF and inertial sensors, boasting unmatched sensitivity.
