Exhibition Day 1

1:30 PM How are global enterprises getting quantum prepared?

  • How can businesses and governments align to reduce friction from “quantum nationalism” and unlock shared opportunities?
  • How are companies identifying and prioritizing quantum use cases that deliver real business value?
  • What lessons can be learned from early movers about integrating quantum into existing tech roadmaps?

12:15 PM Book Signing: Dancing with Qubits (2nd Edition) by Robert S. Sutor

Join us and industry heavyweight Dr Bob Sutor as he signs copies of his book 'Dancing with Qubits: How quantum computing works and how it can change the world' 2nd Edition

'Quantum computing is making us change the way we think about computers. Quantum bits, a.k.a. qubits, can make it possible to solve problems that would otherwise be intractable with current computing technology.Dancing with Qubits is a quantum computing textbook that starts with an overview of why quantum computing is so different from classical computing and describes several industry use cases where it can have a major impact. From there it moves on to a fuller description of classical computing and the mathematical underpinnings necessary to understand such concepts as superposition, entanglement, and interference. Next up is circuits and algorithms, both basic and more sophisticated. It then nicely moves on to provide a survey of the physics and engineering ideas behind how quantum computing hardware is built. Finally, the book looks to the future and gives you guidance on understanding how further developments will affect you.Really understanding quantum computing requires a lot of math, and this book doesn't shy away from the necessary math concepts you'll need. Each topic is introduced and explained thoroughly, in clear English with helpful examples.'

Exhibition Day 2

10:10 AM Quantum NOW - Analysing the results and commercial impact of quantum in 2025

#QUANTUMFORGOOD

This panel will address how quantum computing can be leveraged for social good, exploring its potential to tackle global challenges in healthcare, sustainability, and security. It will highlight how quantum technology can drive positive change by solving complex problems and promoting greater access to resources for underserved communities.

12:00 PM Debate - will we see quantum computing achieve its goals by the end of the decade?

Proponent Statement:

Quantum computing is advancing rapidly, with breakthroughs in qubit stability, error correction, and algorithms. Industry investments and collaborations are accelerating progress, bringing practical quantum applications closer by the end of the decade.

Opponent Statement:

Despite progress, quantum computing faces significant technical challenges, such as scaling qubits and minimizing errors, which may delay achieving its true potential. Additionally, many proposed use cases remain theoretical, requiring more time to materialize.

2:00 PM START UP PITCH FEST - Quantum Start Ups Pitch to Europe's Premier Quantum VCs

To finish the conference in style, this session will feature emerging quantum startups presenting groundbreaking solutions with the potential to reshape industries from healthcare to finance. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Europe’s leading quantum VCs and gain valuable insights into investment opportunities in this rapidly evolving sector. We will showcase the next generation of quantum breakthroughs aimed at addressing some of the world’s most complex challenges.
