Conor Bradley

Conor Bradley is co-founder and CTO of Delft Networks, a recent spinout from QuTech at TUDelft whose mission is to connect the world in the quantum age through its full-stack quantum networking solutions. Conor received his PhD from QuTech, where he and his colleagues established several world-leading performance metrics for spin-qubits in diamond. Prior to joining Delft Networks, he was a Quantum Fellow at the University of Chicago, working as part of a team pioneering dual-species atom arrays for quantum information science.

Exhibition Day 2

11:30 AM From quantum computer network demonstrations at metropolitan-scale to a quantum internet

Future quantum computer networks will be able to harness the unique features of quantum entanglement in a range of novel applications on (distributed) computation, communication and metrology. To fulfill these promises, a strong worldwide effort is ongoing to gain high-fidelity control over multi-qubit nodes, to wire these up using quantum-photonic channels and to establish bespoke hardware and software control stacks.

Here I will introduce the field of quantum computer networks. I will then present the state of the art including the first lab-based multi-node networks, entanglement distribution between solid-state qubit chips over deployed fiber on metropolitan scale and a rudimentary network operating system. I will then discuss the exciting new prospects for scaling these technologies using a novel qubit platform and integrated photonics.

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Conor.
