 
                                                                             
                                        
                                        Morten Bache has experience in both the academic and the private sector, and with working on the intersection between them in defining research and development opportunities. At the Novo Nordisk Foundation, he has been part of developing research centres, grants, calls and investments that benefit research and technology development in Denmark and beyond. The Foundation’s main scope is to award grants to education, research, and innovation in the public domain and is one of the largest private foundations in the world. His background is in as a physicist, with Ph.D. (2002) and Dr.Techn. (2018) degrees from the Technical University of Denmark. His core expert areas at NNF are quantum technologies, AI and data science, physics, applied mathematics, and technical sciences. He has also advised within health tech, energy, climate, carbon capture storage and utilisation
