Peter Nolan is Senior Vice President of R&D Engineering and Infrastructure at Mastercard. Peter first joined Mastercard in 2012 and has held several roles across innovation, product development, and infrastructure, with a focus on applying emerging technologies to new products. With a background in software engineering and a proven track record of delivering transformative solutions, Peter has led initiatives that integrate technologies such as Generative AI and Quantum Computing into real-world applications. Prior to joining Mastercard, Peter worked as a software engineer in start-ups, specializing in front-end user experience, and held engineering leadership and innovation roles within the financial services sector.
