The key to unlocking the talent and making the right advancements in quantum depends highly on the partnership between startups and large companies. We caught up with Choose Paris Region’s Thomas Fauvel, Deep Tech Industry Expert to discuss their aims within the quantum landscape and what the key is to achieving success.

Do you think that Quantum Computing is an important emerging technology that we will be able to leverage to accelerate the development of new, advanced and ground-breaking therapies that could possibly save billions of human lives?

Fittingly, given his current role, Daniel is a chemist by training. “I’ve always been fascinated by quantum computers and quantum mechanics in general,” says Marko Rancic. Having worked as a semiconductor hardware engineer, Matt’s entry into the quantum sphere came by way of an ‘aha moment’. “Around 2015, I came across an article about D-Wave and thought, ‘this is going to change the world.’ "I am now involved in a broad range of activities, including application development, fundamental technology development, startup investment, and ecosystem formation,” he explains.
