Stephen Holmes

Stephen is founder of Final Technology Ventures Ltd, where focus is application of post quantum techniques to solve today’s security, privacy and identity problems. He has a passion for both building secure systems and protecting privacy. Writing extensively on the area of security, privacy and quantum technologies. He is currently conducting research for a PhD in post quantum cryptography applied to blockchain at University of Surrey. working on post quantum Lattice based cryptographic methods and techniques, evaluating and implementing NIST pqc candidates He represents UK on ISO standards committee tc307 for blockchain and DLT systems and is global project leader for privacy group and smart contract security working group, participates in global Zero Knowledge standardisation efforts (NIST initiative). Stephen has a wide range of experience in commercialising disruptive technologies and has worked at IBM laboratories, Hewlett Packard and was co-founder of Virtusa Xlabs.
