Power 10 Awards

The Quantum.Tech Power 10 - where the industry chooses its own icons

The Quantum.Tech Power 10 celebrates the boldest ideas and breakthroughs shaping the future of our industry. Launched in Europe in 2025, the awards now arrive at Quantum.Tech World in Boston.

Unlike traditional awards, the shortlisted Power 10 are chosen by the people who know innovation best — their peers. It’s where creativity meets credibility, and where the changemakers of today are recognised for building tomorrow.

About the Quantum.Tech Power 10

What the awards recognise, who runs them, and why they’re different to traditional programmes.

What is the Quantum.Tech Power 10?

The Quantum.Tech Power 10 celebrates the most groundbreaking ideas, technologies and initiatives that are shaping the future of our industry. The awards recognise excellence, creativity and real-world impact — as voted by professionals within the sector.

In 2026, we’ll be recognising leaders across three key verticals:

  • Enterprise, Government & Academia
  • Quantum Hardware
  • Quantum Software

Who organises the awards?

The awards are organised by Quantum.Tech World, a leader in global quantum events since 2019. Our goal is to spotlight exceptional innovation across the quantum, HPC & AI ecosystem and connect the people building what comes next.

What makes them different?

Unlike traditional awards decided solely by judges, the Quantum.Tech Power 10 are voted for by the industry itself. Recognition comes directly from peers and professionals who truly understand the value of innovation.

10 individuals per category are then shortlisted. Our esteemed Advisory Board, use qualification criteria to select a Winner and Runner-up per category.

Eligibility & entry

Who can enter, what counts as innovation, and how to submit nominations.

Who can enter the awards?

Entries are open to individuals, teams, companies and organisations operating in the quantum, HPC & AI sector who have introduced innovative products, services, campaigns, proofs of concept or solutions within the last 12–18 months.

What qualifies as “innovation”?

Innovation can take many forms — a new product, a creative process, a sustainability breakthrough, a novel use of technology or a fresh approach to solving an industry challenge.

The key ingredients are:

  • Originality
  • Measurable impact
  • Scalability and relevance

This covers not just quantum computing but also communication, security, sensing and quantum’s convergence with AI and HPC. It may be the successful translation of research into practical applications, or visionary leadership and collaboration that shape the future of the ecosystem.

Is there a cost to enter?

No — entry is free for all eligible nominees.

How do I submit an entry?

All entries must be submitted via the official Quantum.Tech Power 10 submission form. You’ll find full category descriptions, qualification criteria and submission forms there.

Typical entry requirements include:

  • Nominee’s / Applicant’s name and company
  • Contact information
  • Selected category
  • A short description of the innovation and its impact
  • Responses to category-specific qualification questions

  • Transformative contribution to the industry: how the nominee has advanced quantum technologies in their organisation or field.
  • Impact & influence: measurable or observable impact on the broader quantum ecosystem.
  • Vision & leadership: why they represent the future of quantum innovation and how they inspire others.

Category 2 – Innovation at a Quantum Hardware Provider

  • Technical breakthrough: innovation in areas such as qubit design, control systems, scalability or error correction.
  • Impact on the field: acceleration of hardware development, commercialisation or performance benchmarks.
  • Vision & leadership: inspiration, collaboration or mentorship driving the hardware ecosystem forward.

Category 3 – Innovation at a Quantum Software Provider

  • Software innovation: advances in algorithms, compilers, middleware or simulation tools.
  • Real-world (no hype) impact: tangible benefits for users or organisations and progress towards quantum advantage.
  • Vision & leadership: community engagement and thought-leadership shaping the global software ecosystem.

Voting & judging

How voting works, who can participate, and how winners are selected.

How does the voting process work?

After submissions close:

  • All eligible entries are verified as active participants in the quantum industry.
  • The top 10 candidates with the most votes in each category are shortlisted and announced on April 21, 2026.
  • To ensure the integrity of our process, we only accept votes from verified individuals. All submissions will be reviewed to confirm that each voter is a real person.

Cast your vote

Who is eligible to vote?
