Brian Miles

Principal Member of Technical Staff AT&T

Brian Miles is a Principal Member of Technical Staff in AT&T’s Chief Security Office and is part of a team tasked with quantum security and preparedness.  Brian has BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance from Butler University.  Brian has also earned Quantum Certifications from MIT xPro and the IBM Global Summer School as well as completing a Deep Learning Nanodegree in mid-2018.  These educational experiences provide him with a foundation in mathematics which can be applied professionally to Machine Learning and Quantum Computing.  At AT&T for more than 20 years, Brian has experience in engineering, software development, application architecture, cloud security, machine learning, and the cybersecurity aspects of quantum computing.
