Dr. Joe Eaton is an NVIDIA Distinguished System Engineer for Data and Graph Analytics, where he leads company strategy for Graph Neural Networks and Graph-RAG. His work spans operations research, graph analysis, framework development, optimization, and direct engagement with prospective partners and customers across industry. Joe also serves as a Senior Advisory Board Member for Symmatrics™, where his expertise in advanced computing, AI, graph analytics, cybersecurity, and large-scale technical systems helps inform the company's mission to deliver AI-ready, quantum secure encryption at global scale. During his 13 years at NVIDIA, Joe has worked on applications of sparse linear algebra and has led CUDA Libraries including cuSOLVER, cuSPARSE, nvGRAPH, and AmgX, an iterative linear solver package including Algebraic Multi-Grid that is now open source. He was also a founding member and architect of NVIDIA RAPIDS, helping develop Python APIs, cuDF, cuML, and cuGRAPH -- an end-to-end open-source platform for data science. A frequent speaker at SuperComputing, NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference, SciPy, and HPEC, Joe works closely with engineers, mathematicians, technologists, and industry leaders on advanced computing, AI, graph analytics, and emerging technology applications. Joe is also a co-owner of Actionable Intellectual Property Intelligence (AIPI), where he leads knowledge graph applications related to patents, litigation, investment opportunities, and new technologies.
