Dr. Jyotsna Sharma serves as the Program Director for the Quantum Computing for Computational Chemistry (QC3) program at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) within the U.S. Department of Energy. She also holds an interdisciplinary appointment as an Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering and an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Louisiana State University. Dr. Sharma's expertise spans breakthrough innovations in sensing and machine learning applications for energy systems. A licensed Professional Engineer, Dr. Sharma has authored over 80 refereed journal and conference publications. She also holds five pending patents, including one in fiber-optic quantum sensor. Prior to her current role, she served as a Subject Matter Expert at Chevron, leading production optimization projects across U.S., Canada, Indonesia, and Venezuela. Dr. Sharma began her career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger (SLB) in Canada.
