Lee Sattler works in Verizon’s Future Technology Research and Development team, evaluating upcoming technologies and delivering early product prototypes in emerging areas such as precision location, software defined networking, confidential computing, and quantum security & cryptography. Lee has conducted several quantum key distribution and quantum security related trials in Verizon.  Over the past 27 years with Verizon, Lee has had responsibilities for the testing, design, and architecture of Verizon’s IP, MPLS and FiOS networks, cloud infrastructure, network security and related services.
