Richard Givhan is the Co-founder and CEO of Haiqu, a quantum software company making quantum computing practical as soon as possible. While most of his team focuses on really small things, like qubits, Richard focuses on really big things, like company vision (and elephants: he believes practical quantum computing will be essential to designing the clean technology that puts our planet on a better path). He co-founded Haiqu in 2022 alongside Mykola Maksymenko, a former quantum researcher at the Max Planck Society and Weizmann Institute, and recently led the company through an $11 million seed round led by Primary Venture Partners.
