Thierry Botter

Executive Director European Quantum Industry Consortium

Dr. Thierry Botter is successful business executive, and an expert in the area of quantum technologies. He is currently the Executive Director of the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC), a large pan-European industry association dedicated to accelerating the development of commercial quantum solutions. Dr. Botter previously held several leadership positions within Airbus' cross-divisional research & technology organisation. He also served as a member of the first strategic advisory board for the European Commission’s Quantum Technologies Flagship. Prior to his work in industry, Dr. Botter worked as a researcher at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He holds a PhD in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
