Dr. Xu Han is a Scientist at Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory, where he leads the "Quantum Coherence by Design" research theme. He also serves as the lead of three quantum labs at CNM: the Quantum Matter and Devices Lab, the Quantum Optomechanics Lab, and the ADR & MEMS Lab. Dr. Han received his B.S. in Physics from Peking University in 2011 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University in 2018. He joined Argonne National Laboratory in 2019. His research focuses on the development of next-generation quantum devices and systems, including microwave-optical quantum transduction, quantum networks, nanomechanical and nanophotonic devices, single-electron qubits, and superconducting qubits and quantum circuits
