Deepti Kumra

Deepti Kumra, LMHC (she/her), is the Director of Behavioral Health at Charles River Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Boston, MA. She leads behavioral health services across two sites with a focus on expanding equitable, integrated care and improving access to mental health services for underserved communities. Deepti earned her Master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a specialization in suicide prevention and trauma. She began her career on Nantucket Island in a community clinic where access to mental health services was limited, an experience that shaped her commitment to community-centered and accessible care. Beyond her work at Charles River, Deepti brings her commitment to health equity into community leadership and advocacy across Massachusetts. She serves as a Steering Committee Member at the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative, a Board Member of the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions, and an Advisory Council Member for Massachusetts Child Sexual Abuse Prevention.
