Elizabeth W . Patton, MD, MPhil, MSc, FACOG, MSCP is an Obstetrician Gynecologist, Health Services Researcher and Deputy Director of Reproductive Health for the Veterans Health Administration. She is also an Assistant Professor of OBGYN at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr . Patton has an active inpatient obstetric practice in a high-acuity tertiary care safety net hospital and serves as an Obstetric Subject Matter Expert for VA, served as co-author of 2023 VA/DOD Clinical Practice Guideline for pregnancy. She is also a Menopause Society Certified Provider and was a co-author of the 2026 VADOD Clinical Practice Guideline for Menopause. She also serves as Co-lead for the VA Reproductive Health Research Workgroup, a national research network promoting collaborative research around key issues in the reproductive health of women and gender diverse Veterans. She enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines to enhance the healthcare experience of all women.
