Nicole Kerner

Dr. Nicole Kerner is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center and has served for the past six years as Medical Director of a gynecology practice caring for medically complex and underserved patients. A board-certified gynecologist, and menopause-certified practitioner, she is dedicated to advancing evidence-based care for women throughout the lifespan. Her clinical expertise includes menopause, sexual health, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Kerner serves as Chief Medical Officer of Alubri, a women's health company focused on expanding access to over-the-counter products that support vaginal health and improve quality of life. Through this work, she advocates for innovative, accessible solutions that empower women to address often-overlooked aspects of their health. Dr. Kerner is also actively involved in healthcare innovation, patient engagement, quality improvement, and medical education. She has developed digital health initiatives designed to improve communication and outcomes for gynecologic patients and is passionate about translating research and innovation into real-world care. Through her clinical, academic, and industry leadership, she works to close longstanding gaps in women's health and menopause care.
