Dr. Sherene Shakib Min is a senior healthcare executive and infectious disease physician with more than 20 years of experience leading the development of new medicines. Since 2019, she has served as Vice President, Head of Global Clinical Development at ViiV Healthcare, a global company dedicated to advancing innovative treatments for people living with HIV. In this role, she leads late-stage clinical development programs, oversees the conduct and quality of global clinical trials, and guides a broad cross-functional organization working to bring important new therapies to patients around the world. Since joining ViiV in 2016, Dr. Min has held a series of strategic leadership roles across the company's HIV research and development portfolio, including programs focused on long-acting therapies and other innovative treatment approaches. Earlier in her career at GlaxoSmithKline, she played a leading role in the development and registration of important HIV medicines, including Tivicay, and Triumeq. She holds an MD and Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, was board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and has published extensively on HIV therapeutics, cardiac safety, and diversity in clinical trials.
