PelvicSense™: Rapid, Scalable Digital Solution for Chronic Pelvic Pain in Women's Health
Developed by a pelvic physical therapist, PelvicSense™ is a research-backed, 91-day self-paced digital home program providing women with chronic pelvic pain access to pain-science-informed, evidence-based mind/body skills to support recovery beyond the clinic.
PelvicSense™ has been evaluated in three independent university pilot studies, with the most recent study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine demonstrating high program feasibility and significant improvements in pain intensity and pain catastrophizing after three months. An ongoing RCT is further evaluating the program's efficacy.
Our Learn, Rewire, Move framework combines evidence-based pain science, calming mind exercises, and gentle body movement incorporating physical and psychological skills to downregulate an overactive neuroimmune system while retraining an overprotective brain and hypertonic pelvic floor.
PelvicSense™ offers two Turnkey Clinical Integration pilots, INSIGHT and SUPPORT, requiring no IT or EMR integration for rapid deployment. For administrators, the INSIGHT pilot addresses operational challenges such as specialist waitlists and delivers objective outcome data, including NPRS and PCS, to track patient progress at scale.
For clinicians, both pilots provide a scalable complement to care, empowering patients with self-regulation tools while easing educational demands on providers. By addressing centrally driven persistent pain, PelvicSense™ may strengthen patient self-efficacy and engagement while patients are waitlisted or between visits.
By alleviating staff burden and providing structured support between visits, PelvicSense™ may help reduce clinician burnout and proactively address patient drop-offs, supporting greater care-plan completion without implementation friction.
