UPMC Women’s Health Operations Leader with 30 Years of Clinical Experience Joins Women’s HealthX
Boston, MA -- September 18 2026: Women's HealthX is pleased to announce that Beth Quinn, Senior Director, Women's Health Operations at UPMC, has officially joined the speaker faculty for this year's summit at Encore Boston Harbor.
As healthcare organizations work to improve women's health across complex care pathways, translating clinical priorities into consistent system-level operations remains essential.
Beth is a senior healthcare operations leader with 30 years of clinical and administrative experience in women's health. She began her career at UPMC as a bedside nurse and advanced through progressive management and senior leadership roles, bringing a strong clinical foundation to system-level operational strategy.
In her current role as Senior Director of Women's Health Operations, Beth supports the development and execution of clinical and operational strategies, including the adoption of innovative technologies across the UPMC Women's Health Service Line.
Her scope includes operational oversight for collaborative, standardized processes across 15 hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics. Her work focuses on improving consistency in patient education, policies, and workflows throughout the pregnancy episode of care.
"I am really excited to attend the conference to learn more about what others in the country are doing to advance women's health best practices and innovation and to share more about our amazing program that keeps postpartum safely connected to care at home."
Beth Quinn
Beth serves as the administrative leader for in-hospital birth doula programs and postpartum hypertension remote monitoring programs across five hospitals. She also provides leadership for lactation services and systemwide efforts to expand access to breastfeeding support for intrapartum and postpartum patients.
She has clinical and administrative oversight for a Level III, 83-bed neonatal intensive care unit.
Beth currently serves as President of the Council of Women and Infants' Specialty Hospitals (CWISH), which comprises 14 academic birthing hospitals across the country representing more than 120,000 births annually.
Her participation reflects the system-level focus at the heart of Women's HealthX: bringing together clinical, operational, research, and industry leaders to examine how innovation and best practices can be translated into more connected and consistent care for women.
We are delighted to welcome Beth Quinn to the Women's HealthX faculty and look forward to hearing her perspective in Boston this December.
