Julieta Jimenez is an Executive Director of Clinical Operations at AstraZeneca and a passionate advocate for Health Equity and inclusive science. With 25 years of experience spanning local, regional, and global operations, Julieta is dedicated to ensuring that the science we develop reaches the diverse populations it is intended to serve. Currently leading operations within Vaccines & Immune Therapies, Julieta applies her expertise to dismantle barriers to clinical trial participation. Part of her recent work focuses on creating awareness around the "access gap" in medical research. Her background includes leading complex, high-stakes programs, including the COVID-19 mAb. Julieta leverages this extensive experience to drive systemic changes that improve representation in trials. She creates high-performance cultures across the globe that are agile, resilient, and deeply connected to the patient mission.
