Farrah Haroon is a former Global Macro Strategist and Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager within Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Office. She provided thought leadership guidance and supported the Private Wealth Management and Institutional Advisors and their clients (foundations, endowments, pension funds) across the firm with the CIO’s strategic, tactical, and dynamic asset allocation, active/passive decisions, investment portfolio analysis, and manager selection advice based on systematic data-driven methods. During her time at Morgan Stanley, Farrah also led content development initiatives and communicated strategy advice for the Global Investment Committee (GIC) and Global Investment Office (GIO) via the “ChartBook” publication and “Daily Positioning”, a daily, high-impact publication of market insights and actionable investment ideas. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Farrah was a Wealth Strategist at Bank of America Private Bank where she consulted with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families to address and develop sophisticated wealth structuring solutions on cash flow, asset allocation, gift and estate planning as well as wealth transfer and multi-generational planning. She specifically focused on assisting her clients in preparing for liquidity events, concentrated stock positions, stock options, restricted stock and deferred compensation. Farrah began her career at RBC Rochdale where she worked alongside the Senior Portfolio Managers and Investment Strategists to develop and implement customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
