Dr. Iro Tasitsiomi is a globally recognized leader at the intersection of quantitative finance, data science & artificial intelligence in capital markets. As the Head of AI & Data Science at T. Rowe Price, she is responsible for the firm’s AI strategy and is instrumental in creating and integrating innovative investment signals with the firm’s fundamental investing approaches. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 firms including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs & Prudential Asset Management. A frequent keynote speaker at premier global forums such as TradeTech, The Global CIO Institute, and The Summit for Asset Management, she has been featured in The Economist, CIO Review Magazine, and The Chicago Sun-Times. Dr. Tasitsiomi earned her MS in Physics and Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Chicago, taught at Princeton University and is a well published research author.
