Kimberly D. McGuire is the Chief Operations Officer for Co-design Center for Quantum Advantage (C2QA), who joined Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2021 to spearhead operations and management of the center. An experienced leader who’s served in several leadership posts across diverse industries (higher education, construction & engineering, consulting), she’s known for delivering the desired operational results within matrixed functional teams. Her broad knowledge spans across contracting and procurement, communications, change management, administration, risk mitigation, strategic planning, and workforce development. As a systems thinker, she has found success in her ability to see the big picture and incorporate strategies that lead to operational excellence. C2QA—a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed team in its own right—is well-served by McGuire, as she is a true partner who brings depth of knowledge, skill and passion for process optimization and relationship building.
